Urban Living Property Management is a Portland-based real estate, development and property management company. Because we own the properties we manage, we are tenant focused. We offer a wide array of commercial and residential properties for rent in sought-after areas like St. John's, Sellwood, Milwaukie and more. Our managed properties range from unique, vintage locations to large, mixed-use developments.
We were established in 2014 as a small in-house management company for our owner’s real estate holdings, which included a handful of residential and commercial properties. Today, the portfolio has grown to include properties acquired and developed from the ground up; and new projects in the works. We manage residential, retail, office and restaurant spaces and continue to grow our roster of managed properties.
Meet the Team
Farid Bolouri
President & Founder
Dr. Farid Bolouri is President & Founder of Urban Living Property Management and Black Rock Development and Real Estate, LLC. As a real estate developer, his projects include Madison at Sellwood, The Union at St. Johns, Central Lofts, and Coho Point at Kellogg Creek. Dr. Bolouri has been involved in many aspects of real estate, from acquisition to renovation to full development, focusing on identifying opportunities to improve properties in small urban communities and redeveloping them to contribute to future growth and stability in their neighborhoods. Having helped his father manage properties as a boy, Dr. Bolouri developed an interest in real estate from a young age, eventually establishing his own dental practice in a building he purchased in Milwaukie over 25 years. When taking time outside of his many projects, Dr. Bolouri is an avid golfer.
Managing Director
Angela Creais is the Managing Director of Urban Living Property Management, responsible for all property management operations and executive decision-making. She has an extensive and diverse career in sales and management, and now brings all those skills to her role at Urban Living. Angela likes to say “I’m here to make sure everyone succeeds” and takes great care to assure that each team member thrives in their roles. Her style is unique, succinct, and direct while she manages to juggle 20 balls in the air simultaneously. Off-hours Angela likes to cook, sew, and spend time with her grandson.
Bookkeeper
Jami is our office bookkeeper at Urban Living Property Management! She's one of the first friendly faces that you'll see when you walk into our office. She's an Oregon native and was born in Tillamook but has been living in the Portland Metro area since she was three. Jami is married and has two wonderful daughters and two grandsons! When she's not crunching the numbers in the office, she loves to spend time with her family and head out to Oregon's beautiful coast whenever her and her family get the chance.
Leasing Consultant
Arriana is our lovely Leasing Consultant for The Union at St. Johns and Central Lofts! She’s an Oregon Native and studied Interior Design at Portland Community College and Portland State University. When she’s not holding down the leasing office and building relationships with our residents, she loves to spend time with her fur baby, Thor, explore everything Portland has to offer with friends, experiment with music, and go to the gym! She’s brand new to the St. Johns area and loves it, especially the “small town” feel and the walkability.
Maintenance Technician
The other half of our dynamic maintenance duo is Chris! With over 30 years of experience, there's nothing Chris doesn't know how to do or fix. He's originally from Maine but decided to trade one Portland for another back in 1998. When he's not beautifying our residential and commercial properties, he loves to spend time with his 12-year-old daughter. Chris values all kinds of art but especially loves playing the guitar, singing, and fine dining!
